While Learning How to Make Basic Meals for Yourself
LGBTQ+ & Woman Owned Business
This program is designed to support 12 to 21 year olds in developing greater independence, socialization, and daily living skills through structured, hands-on non-cook meal preparation. Participants will learn how to prepare simple meals and snacks while building skills in following directions, planning, organization, communication, and teamwork. In a supportive peer environment, youth will have opportunities to develop meaningful friendships, increase self-confidence, and strengthen the practical life skills needed for greater independence at home and in the community.
"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn."
